Now.

Then. Please note that neither of the drawn versions of WW are displaying half so much poitrine.

Then, too. As E. Taylor said, Nobody in Hollywood has real tits any more. God bless you, Lynda Carter.

Interesting how the original has muscles -- delts, even -- which offset the traditional star-spangled booty shorts as an athletic costume. Little-to-no cleaves.

This looks promising.

Chard 'n' Chickpea Minestrone )

Wow, I was just Googling "beans and greens" for a possible icon candidate and the link below was practically the first hit. It comes very very close to replicating Sam Giancana's last supper, a recipe I think I read in Playboy magazine, which is the apotheosis of beans 'n' greens, entailing sauteed escarole, crumbled Italian sausage (this is Sam, guys, not a vegan), white cannellinis and baaaaaad touches of garlic and red pepper flakes. It may be the best beans and greens dish ever, and certainly the best dinner I know of that involves canned food.

But this comes close to the formula. RIP, Sam.

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

I love the intarnets. It wasn't Playboy, it was The New Yorker.

10:03 — The show is now an unmitigated disaster. People are leaving early. Attendee Chris Acchione, who came all the way from Toronto for the show, says, “He’s making a fool of himself. Is there a bigger loser in the world? He’ll be [begging] Chuck Lorre for his job back by the end of the week.”

"It's kind of like a NASCAR race. You're just tuning in because you're just waiting for the accident to happen," said Ronnie Prentice, 37, who lives near Toronto.
Adam Hawke said he bought a ticket for the same reason.
"He might be doing something really crazy," said Hawke, 47, who works in the construction business and lives in Waterford Township, Mich. "He's a wreck. That's half the draw."
Geoff Rezek, 69, flew in from New York to see what he believed was going to be "history in the making."
"I wouldn't miss the first show. Who knows if there's going to be a second show?" said Rezek, a computer consultant from Darien, Conn., who said he also bought a ticket for Sheen's show next week in his home state.

He opened for Charlie Sheen's Violent Torpedo of Truth Tour on April 2nd, 2011 and was booed off stage.

Honesty is Sheen's touted value, so here goes: He didn’t bring the goods, and no amount of pandering to the spectators with his you-and-me against-the-trolls malarkey could convince them otherwise.

He flashed bits of the “20/20” interview. He brandished the “warlock,” “tiger blood” and “duh” catch phrases his people have been slapping on merchandise. He offered an incoherent rant from a presidential podium. He even tried to hide behind film montages and video clips. But the aging Hollywood pretty boy was not only defeated by the uncontrollable nature of theater--he was running scared.

Sheen then asked the audience what they wanted to hear. He shot down someone's suggestion of AA stories, calling it boring, and promised to talk about crack instead.
"I figured Detroit was a good place to tell crack stories," he quipped.
Loud boos and shouts of "You suck!" throughout the disasterous affair eventually caused Sheen to retort, "Already got your f---ing money, dude."
Sheen eventually shut the show down, calling for a music break before disappearing for the night.
Sheen's rep declined to comment on the night.
