I'm glad to hear that Thanksgiving was a success all around, and that the mailbox will soon be off your hands if not quite out of eyesight. I share your lament for LJers gone by, and am puzzled that Facebook has seduced so many. Facebook to me is just reason-to-join-a-monastery fodder.
