i'm worried about being a lone woman driver with such a bumper sticker. maybe i'll just get some aqua colored ball fringe for the interior of the windshield and and a selena album and blast it wherever i go.
my daughter is just flat-out confused by this whole thing. like, it does not make any kind of sense to her [and not as in WTF AGAIN AZ???? but just completely beyond her comprehension that anyone would want such a thing let alone enact it].

she's absolutely correct. that's one of the reasons that even though i worked as a reporter in washington, i simply could not cover politics. i just couldn't believe any of it.
