So Dylan and Fabian the rockstars finally made it -- 27 minutes late, after calling me and informing they were here but had forgotten the paperwork -- with their bid.

It is two and a half to three times what the other two bids are -- $35-40K more. I do not know what they're talking about -- I think the markup is on the stone.

Holy effin' kazoli. Never never never fail to get less than three bids on a job.

Dear Mr. Salsberry:

I have reviewed the bid Green Works made on the work for my backyard. Shockingly, your bids are two and a half, and three times, respectively, the price of bids made by other reputable landscapers -- three of Angies' List top recommended landscapers. Each of their bids came in within two or three hundred dollars of the other, and each of them provided me with detailed, itemized lists of procedures and costs for each. Your bid is the only one which did not itemize a list and provide a cost breakdown for each item.

I suspect the extra thirty-five to forty thousand dollars you're asking me to pay you for exactly the same scope of work would be revealed in such a cost breakdown.

I fear you have made a serious miscalculation, both of the scope of work and of your client.

Yours truly,
