Delighted to report that

• Acey is eating again and isn't pissed off about losing an eyebrow any more
• Jack Daniels will not be here for Thanksgiving, he's flying back east to go smoke cigarettes with his repulsive daughters and
• that the wonderful gnm, who is doing the best writing on Obama on LJ, is also absolutely right about how HGTV has sold out. It's all about real estate now, which while a reasonable calculation of what the news is, is a serious bore. DIY TV is the place to be. Lotsa hardcore drillin', men in tool belts and Hard Wood t shirts. Yow.
• And I scored this Hollywood Regency chandelier for the Pillow Talk room off Etsy. It's just like (more or less) the one Doris has in her study overlooking the 59th Street bridge. Yay.
