Peckerwood Style

I have suggested previously, on the Rancho Atomico blog, the divide between cheezass and Peckerwood style, a distinction well worth my full attention.
I can't give it now. I submit to you that an old car seat on the front porch and a satellite dish bigger than your house is not Peckerwood style, but a folk way worth preserving.
A hint. The keyword for my icon -- a labor of love and oral history produced, I am proud to say, by an MFA graduate of Florida State University, with hott collages made of okra labels -- is Jamie Lynn.
Watch this space.
