Ooh - why can't we get into the discussion re: why My Life With Therapy isn't oversharing, while Kim's bottom is? Reading Stanley's phrase, "deliciously inane," I can't help but think "at least it's got some delicious," which is more than Merkin's writing can say.
It's that sort of ehh... xenophobic tin ear that plagues Merkin et al, and means (so far as I can tel) nothing they write will ever do anything useful/reach anyone but themselves.
