I think something big is going on when I would rather spend time with Larry, from south central Kansas, Sumner County, who married his third grade sweetheart, Annette, reading about his tender and heroic rescue of some ancient wainscoating in his beautiful old cluttered Oz house and his tornado chasing and his discovery online of steam punk and his kitty cats and his hypochondria and his epic decision over wood stain and his friend Bill and his collection of antique wood planes, than I would reading big important novels.
