He is a veteran fighter and a refugee of Michael Vick's concentration camp for pit bulls.

He's now a therapy dog and just won a service prize.

You can teach an old dog new tricks.

Carmel is a pit bull that lives around the block from me and looks a lot like Hector, same coloring. Carmel just about turns herself inside out to give people sweet doggy lovin' at every opportunity. She is very kissy, and a belly-rub slut. Carmel was rescued from a dogfight in East Baltimore a handful of years back. You'd never know it.

Go Hector! I love how he's soaking up the affection.
