1.
Chelsea looks really happy.
2.
She drank the strapless Koolaid.
3.
After all the crap about how only people close to the bride and groom were invited, it seems she drank the Terry Auliffe/Steve Bing Koolaid too. This can only mean she is herself planning to run for office or that slick Willie sold her virginity to Tear and Steve.
4.
Bill looks very very old and frail. First dispatch of pix shows none of the father of the groom, with or without his shackles.
5.
Hillary looks very very old and as if she drank the same eyeliner Koolaid Chelsea did.
6.
The no fly-over thing is still pissing me off.
7.
If Chels has any brains at all, she will never ever give an interview to anybody.
8.
I am not surprised that her true love is another child of really disgusting political scandal.
9.
Mazel tov.

One thing that grinds my gears is that even though Chelsea is a vegan, she didn't have the guts to have an all-vegan wedding, even though the press is inexplicably calling it one. (Newsflash: beef, even when it's grass-fed, isn't vegan!)

Because she's gluten-intolerant, she did manage to get a gluten-free vegan wedding cake; imagine a wedding where the bride couldn't eat her own cake!

It's called being considerate about your guests.
My best friend's spouse is vegan but at their wedding they had a choice of meat dishes, fish, and a vegan option.

Exactly. The idea that a wedding day should be some ego-fest for the bride is one of the most pernicious things in our culture.

those bridezilla magazines were around when i was being a bride, and they are in fact totally pernicious. it's about the sales of the big box appliances as any editrix will tell you. we should both buy a copy of martha stewart's weddings and deconstruct it. although it will kill me, since i cry at all weddings, including chelsea's.

I don't give a damn about either one of them but I can't be cynical about their getting together or marriage.
Not yet, anyway.

Bill had to lose 15 lbs. for the wedding on Chelsea's orders, and went the extra mile, losing an addition five by foregoing dessert. That would make any true son of the South shakey.

I'm also unhappy about the no-fly zone. That doesn't belong in a republic.

And here I was thinking that we're almost to the end of the strapless wedding dress era. Sigh.

i'll be interested to see what effect princess victoria's dress has on the wedding market. just googling for these pix i caught glimpses of how brides choose their dresses -- by googling princesses' dresses. (how strapless came from this i don't know: but the tiara thing sure did, and you can buy diana tiara replicas all over the nets. ye gods.)

Yes, Chelsea looks happy, but that young man looks completely over the moon. As a groom should, IMO. It's the best hope for the future.
